Outside the house I share in Peru

In April 2009 I was coming to the end of my six month visa in Canada. I’d had a great six months (even if winter had been long and fairly brutal!) and I had just applied to extend my visa to stay in Canada another six months to enjoy all the adventures a Canadian summer was bound to bring.

However, all of a sudden I got a fairly powerful urge to move to Peru. Call it an intuition, a spiritual calling, or whatever you like but I knew it was something I couldn’t ignore. A week later I bought my ticket and two weeks after that I was flying to Lima without really knowing why or what I was letting myself in for.

Through this blog I intend to share my experiences for anyone who might be interested.
